Milling
Rough lumber was jointed, planed and left to settle for a few days before final dimensioning. Skipping that rest is how tables end up rocking.
Cutting the tenons

Finishing
Three coats of Danish oil, a day apart, then paste wax.
Coat 1: flood, wait 15 min, wipe off
Coat 2: thin, wipe off after 10 min
Coat 3: thin, buff with 0000 steel wool
